Jana McCullough Evensen, Pharm. D

I have been practicing pharmacy for the last 41 years since graduating from the University of New Mexico in 1982. I have owned a corner drug store in rural Colorado, worked on the Navajo Reservation, taught pharmacology to nursing students, and worked for Walmart for 10 years. I am your 71 year old menopausal pharmacist who got very interested in hormones when I went through menopause.

I strive to keep myself current in the field of hormone replacement. (In the last 3 years I have completed over 60 hours of medical C.E.) In the last five years while working for Collier Compounding I have done over 2500 saliva tests and patient consultations.

My family has lived in the Ozarks since emigrating from Tennessee in 1840. I was the first one on either side of the family to go to college. With my husband Dewayne we own a ranch in Proctor, Oklahoma where we breed, train and sell gaited mules & horses. We are active members of St. Brigid’s Catholic Church in Tahlequah. I was raised in a musical family and play a hammer dulcimer, piano and a mountain dulcimer. My hobbies include traveling to Europe, keeping a flower garden and encouraging our grandchildren and God children.
